Certificates of Deposit (CDs)
Right now, Northeast Community Credit Union has
unbeatable rates of return on Certificates of Deposit (also known as
CDs). CDs are excellent investments with the great added benefit
of having no risk. All accounts are federally insured up to
$250,000.
You have the opportunity to earn even
higher dividends when you have your checking account or mortgage
loan with us. You can add up to an additional .40% APR on
our posted rates; .20% APR with checking and .20% APR if
your home loan is with us. We value your relationship with
us and reward you with better investment and loan rates.
CDs offer higher interest than regular savings accounts and they
are a far safer investment than the stock market.
Savings certificates offer a guaranteed rate over a specific
amount of time.
CDs require a minimum deposit and dividends are paid monthly
into one of your designated accounts or may be paid at maturity.
